My Must Have Mascara | December Obsession

Besides my coffee, mascara is the one thing I rarely leave the house without. Especially during this time of year with all of the parties and get-togethers people tend to have during the holidays and through the New Year!

I've always struggled to find a mascara I like, that stays on and doesn't wreck my lashes. As much as I love my waterproof mascaras for vacations and boat days, I've found that wearing it every single day does a number on my lashes, so I needed to find something a little gentler to avoid completely destroying my lashes.

As expected, I found myself reaching for another Milk Makeup product! I've shared in the past how much I love this brand and why, but here's a little refresher. Milk Makeup does not test on animals, its products are made with clean ingredients and without over 2,000 controversial ingredients and the products are 100% vegan! I'm also a huge fan of how the company is constantly striving to be better and more sustainable all the time!

So, no surprise when I was looking for a new go-to mascara I reached for the Milk Makeup KUSH Mascara. And, again, no surprise, I was instantly obsessed. I opted for the non-waterproof formula (because of the reasons I just mentioned) but the next time I need a waterproof formula I'll be sure to grab this one. This mega-volume mascara is exactly what I need to add a little life to my eyes on a day where I'm tired and a full face of makeup is just not happening.

This mascara is vegan, clean, cruelty-free, paraben-free, silicone-free, alcohol-free, fragrance-free, gluten-free, and coal tar-free. Not to mention it's some of the easiest mascara to get off at night! There's nothing more annoying than fighting with your mascara when you just want to go to bed because you can't seem to get it off of your eyelashes.

Now, on the days where I forget to take this off before I hit the gym or go to a Pure Barre class, it does run a little bit. But, it's also super easy to wipe off from under my eyes and touch up if I need to throughout the day without making my eyelashes feel like they weigh 20 lbs.

It's also one of the more affordable clean mascaras I've found. Sure, it's not as affordable as running over to CVS and picking up one of those brands but at $25 for a full-size or $13 for a mini-size bottle, this mascara isn't going to break the bank if you purchase it a few times throughout the year.

When I tell you this is the only mascara I've reached for in weeks, I mean it. Between the look of my lashes and the clean beauty standards of the company, I doubt I'll be switching to a different mascara any time soon!
