It never fails, the season changes, and the items I reach for most often change too - well, sometimes.
Here's a look at my fall favorites!
🍁Cowboy Boots
I wear these to work pretty much every day, regardless of the season. But I've been reaching for them more and more to complete my fall outfits now that the weather's cooled off. When it comes to boots, especially cowboy boots I pretty much only wear Ariat boots. I've had Ariat riding boots for years (since I was a little girl with braids riding ponies) and they last forever. Not to mention, these were the easiest pair of boots to break in! There was only one spot that took a little longer, but once they were completely broken in, they became the most comfortable pair of boots I own! I'm also just a huge fan of the cowboy boot and sweater dress look! I picked these up in a size 9.5 - I like to go up a half size in boots because I like to be able to add some thicker socks in the winter!
🍁Hot Lattes
I'm one of those people who will drink iced coffee in -20 degree weather. I just can't help it. Something about hot lattes this fall though have been hitting different! I love grabbing a latte from one of the local coffee shops before work or when I'm working on blog posts or when I remember to buy N'esspresso pods I'll make a latte to go before heading to work! Typically, I don't love maple-flavored things (except maple syrup) but I've been loving maple lattes from Black Cap Coffee lately!
🍁Sweater Dresses
You all know I'm all for easy outfits, and the fall is no exception. I am obsessed with the sweater dress and cowgirl boot look or even a sweater dress with tall boots - ugh, love! I'm also a big fan of staying warm and stylish, so on those cooler Vermont days, a sweater dress is the perfect option! I've had some great luck on Amazon with sweater dresses, like this one! I picked this one up in the color Wine Red last year and it's become a fall staple! I got a size L for reference since I wanted to make sure it was long enough!
🍁Drunk Elephant Moisturizer
Lately, I've been really focusing on keeping my skin hydrated. I've got sensitive skin so the fall weather can be tricky when it comes to skincare. With the cooler weather, I need a moisturizer that is going to hydrate without feeling heavy. Cue the Drunk Elephant Pritini Polypeptide Cream. I use this at least 2-3 times a day! It's light, and my skin feels great! On another note, the packaging is one of my favorite designs! I love the pump-type container and the simple, fun colors!
🍁Kindle
I'm not sure if it's the cooler weather or what but I love reading way more in the fall than any other season! This summer I bought the Kindle Paperwhite and I'm obsessed! I love being able to throw it in my bag and take it with me. The battery lasts forever too, so if I forget the charger, it's no big deal! I can download books straight from Amazon and can even rent e-books from local libraries which has been fantastic! If you've been on the fence about getting a Kindle, here's your sign to get one ASAP!
